I need to try Patrick Rothfuss's work too, that sounds interesting.

HAHAHA Aaron makes me laugh so much. I told him Stu and I were going to Charleston to do taxes w/ his mom for Valentine's and he was like "Valentiness and taxes??? *SWOON*" It made me laugh so much.

What book did you get???the superhero princesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00011205325093437350noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6701571404066762580.post-38434909137070449682009-02-13T10:54:00.000-08:002009-02-13T10:54:00.000-08:00L.M. Lately I've been reading her collected journals, which were recently published. Love them.

I'm trying to think of other fun books to add to your list, especially since you seem to like YA and MG. Have you read any of Ursula LeGuin's? She's written a lot, but I have yet to come across one I didn't like.

I'm not sure I'd put these on top ten list or anything, but I just finished "Feed" by: M.T. Anderson - very interesting read and social commentary. Similarly "Speak" by L. Anderson was outstanding. Wish I could have come across that in middle/high school.

Since you like fantasy -- this isn't YA, but I just read "The Name of the Wind" by: Patrick Rothfuss. One of the most enjoyable fantasies I've read in a long time. Original and fun.

I'm with you on book talk - it's hard to shut me up. Aaron just called this morning from a bookstore. I quote, "All your dreams have come true. I have an in store return and I have to pick out a book right now. What do you want?" So, I'm not sure if ALL my dreams came true in that moment, but it was a pretty nice surprise. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
